Playfair Island Custom Architectural Replica Birdhouse
Description:
The Playfair Island custom birdhouse was completed in October 2009. The custom birdhouse was bench-made with exterior grade materials and joinery. It features three bird nesting chambers, copper-lined species sized entry holes and easy access clean out panels.
It was consigned as a gift for a very special friend's lake cottage. "Playfair Island" is located in Ontario, Canada, and features large windows, a wrap around deck and unique roof line.
As with all of my custom birdhouses, Playfair Island began as CAD drawing. This was an especially important part of the production process. With my clients' input and approval, I was able to create the design plans for the custom birdhouse and accurately capture the scale and features which make Playfair immediately recognizable.
